The immediate future seems to point to no more traveling for Jesse for a while. My heart yearns for world travel but my bank statement points towards public transportation. This leaves me in an interesting situation. I have really enjoyed blogging about various experiences I’ve had abroad, but I’m not sure how interested people will be with my domestic adventures. I would encourage everyone to periodically check this blog, because I hope to keep posting.

Currently I am in the process of finding myself a full time job in the United States. Truthfully, I am not looking forward to this long and arduous journey. I thought that a year in Thailand would give me a better idea of what I wanted for myself in the future. Like usual, I thought wrong. I’m just as confused and I sometimes wonder when things are going to “click” for me (thank you to all you 40 somethings who still tell me that they don’t know what they want to do with their lives. You give me so much hope). This indecision makes my job hunting that much more difficult. My initial aspirations are to find a job in California so I can replicate the Thai weather as close as possible. The last thing on my wish list is living in Wisconsin. As much as I have loved my time here I feel like I have outgrown this pond and need to move on. We’ll see where my next life’s chapter takes me.
