The Wealthy Gardner

I’ve previously mentioned that I aspire to blog professionally, in hopes that I could possibly reap the financial benefits of the ad revenue from the affiliate marketing that could accompany such a venture. I racked my brain for possible directions I could take this blog to optimize my earning potential. Despite my best efforts, all my new blog ideas were scattered, absolutely no continuity within the ideas. Needless to say, this makes it difficult to find appropriate ad placement. I temporarily postponed my brainstorming session to read some of my favorite blogs to clear my head. Low and behold Seth Godin hit the nail on the head with his Wealthy Gardner post.

Mr. Godin’s words resonated with me and I have abandoned my desire to pay a mortgage with my blog revenues. I will continue to write about whatever comes to my mind and brings me personal satisfaction. Perhaps one day my readership will double, or triple, or maybe multiply by a 100,000. Until then I hope to entertain all eight loyal readers one volunteer blog at a time.

* Did anyone else happen to catch the tough day Crocs experienced?
