Mom,

I’m sorry that I can’t be there to celebrate Mother’s Day with you.  I know that you dislike this holiday because it’s a “Hallmark” holiday, but I think that it’s appropriate that everyone recognizes their mothers today.  Throughout my life you have been there for me every step of the way.  You saw my potential and pushed me to improve in each aspect of my life.   You supported me thoughout my life, both good and bad choices.  You let me live my life but were always one step away to catch me if I fell.  Most importantly, you loved me unconditionally.  You are the reason why I dream and still believe I can do anything.  I can never thank you enough for that gift.
